The substrate should be prepared by suitable mechanical preparation techniques such as high-pressure water jetting, breakers, blast cleaning, scabblers, etc.

The concrete substrates should be pre-soaked with clean water continuously for 2 - 6 hours to ensure a saturated surface dry condition throughout the operation.

Immediately before pouring remove all excess or standing water from within any formwork.

Pour the water in the recommended proportion into a suitable mixing container. While stirring slowly, add the powder to the water. Mix with low speed (< 500 rpm) hand drill mixer to avoid entraining too much air. Mix thoroughly at least for 3 minutes until homogenous with no lumps. Mix only full bags for best results.

Stand the grout for ~2-3 minutes; stir with a trowel and then pour into the prepared openings.

Protect the fresh material from premature drying using an appropriate curing method e.g. curing compound, moist geotextile membrane etc.

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.
