Step 1: Surface Preparation
The surface of the base slab shall be thoroughly clean, dry, smooth and free of matter. Verify that light weight concrete screed slops positively to drain. Ensure all items to be installed on the roof which requires penetrations through the roof. The screed shall be finished smooth to receive further finish as specified. Screed shall be finished to a hard and dense surface free from pinholes and imperfections.
The top of screed surface shall be cleaned dry and free from cracks. Screed top surface shall be carefully cleaned, and all dusts shall be removed before application.
Step 2: Mixing & Application Sealoflex® Professional
- Thoroughly mixing is required.
- Apply suitable primer if required.
- Apply a generous first base coat of Sealoflex® Professional evenly by brush, roller or soft broom and allow to dry for at least 4 hours or until touch dry.
Step 3
- When touch dry, apply a topcoat (2nd coat) evenly and at right angles to the base coat.
- Additional coats may be applied as necessary.
